Who processes your refund
Paddle.com Market Ltd ("Paddle") is our merchant of record — the seller of record for every purchase. Paddle takes your payment, issues your invoice, and processes any refund. Money is returned by Paddle to your original payment method.
You can ask either of us. If you contact Paddle directly, use the order support link on your receipt.
Paddle also operates its own refund policy and can issue refunds independently of us, including where the law gives you a right to withdraw from a purchase. Where Paddle refunds a purchase, we'll adjust the minutes on the account to match. Nothing in this policy limits any right you have against Paddle as the seller, or any statutory right you have.
Trying Coworkkit: 14 days, no conditions
If you're not happy with Coworkkit, ask within 14 days of your first subscription payment and we'll refund it in full. You don't need a reason, and we won't deduct for minutes you used while trying it.
This applies to your first payment on a paid plan. It doesn't apply to renewals, or to separately purchased minutes.
Subscription fees after that
Subscription fees are charged in advance for each billing period.
- Cancelling takes effect at the end of your current paid period. You keep full access until then.
- Fees are not pro-rated on cancellation. Plan minutes reset each period anyway, so there's no unused portion to return.
- Changing plan mid-period is pro-rated — handled at the point of change, not as a refund.
Purchased minutes
Extra minutes bought on top of a plan work differently, because they're prepaid and they last.
Minutes you've consumed are not refundable. Once a voice session has run, the service has been delivered.
Minutes you haven't consumed can be refunded at our discretion, within 60 days of the purchase. Where we agree a refund on a partly-used purchase, we refund the unused portion only.
Why 60 days, when minutes are valid for 12 months? These are two different things and it's worth being clear about them. Your minutes stay valid for 12 months from your most recent purchase — that's how long you can spend them, and buying more extends the whole lot. Refunds have a shorter window because payment providers can only return money to a card for a limited period after the original charge. We'd rather publish a window we can actually honour than a longer one that fails when you try to use it.
You don't need a refund just to keep your minutes. Purchased minutes survive cancellation and downgrade, stay valid for 12 months from your most recent purchase, and remain usable on any plan — including the free plan. If you're stepping away for a while, your minutes will still be there.
Free and promotional minutes
Free-plan minutes, launch credits and any minutes we grant you are never refundable and have no cash value. They aren't purchases.
If something goes wrong at our end
If the Service fails in a way that stops you using minutes you've paid for, tell us. We'll look at what happened and put it right — usually by restoring minutes, and by refunding where restoring them isn't the right answer. We'd rather fix a problem than argue about a refund.
If we end your account
If we terminate your account for convenience, we'll refund your unused purchased minutes.
If we terminate for breach of the Terms of Service — abuse, non-payment, or unlawful use — refunds are at our discretion.
Your statutory rights
Coworkkit is sold for business use. If you're nonetheless a consumer under UK or EU law, this policy doesn't limit the statutory rights you have as one, including any right to cancel a distance contract. Paddle applies those rights at checkout according to where you are.
Chargebacks
If something's wrong, please contact us before raising a chargeback with your bank. A chargeback takes weeks; we can usually resolve it the same day, and the 14-day money-back above is faster than any bank process. Where a chargeback is raised, it's handled by Paddle as merchant of record.
